These terms and conditions and all orders and contracts placed are governed by and construed in accordance with English Law.

The following terms and conditions for the sale of goods will govern any contract that we enter into with you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully as any order you place with us will require your acceptance.

These terms and conditions tell you the rights and obligations you have. Other rights you may have, granted by law, will not be affected by these terms and conditions, nor will they affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

To purchase from us, you must be aged 18 years or over.

When placing an order with us, you are offering to buy the goods and allowing us to use your details for the purposes of supplying the said goods.

Other than to our couriers or subcontractors, your details will never be passed or disclosed to any other party without your consent and you can, at any time, request your details be removed from our system by writing to our registered office. For further information please see our privacy policy.

On placing an order of one or more items from our website, you will as part of the transaction be directed to a payment page whereby you will be given the opportunity to proceed with the purchase. On completion and verification of the required details, payment will be taken and your order transferred to our system. For your safety, security and peace of mind, all payments through our website are via Sage Pay who hold the highest level of security, information is encrypted using a 128-bit SSL certificate and at the point of payment you will be directed to their secure site. You can read their security policy by visiting www.sagepay.co.uk and following the link. Please note that we do not hold or retain any information regarding your credit/debit card payment details. Through Sage Pay, we accept payment via Visa, Mastercard debit and credit cards and American Express.

Business customers are invited to open an account with us by contacting us at accounts@safefleet.co.uk whereupon we will be happy to supply you with credit terms subject to satisfactory references.

All goods you purchase from us will remain the property of Safefleet UK Ltd., until payment is received in full. No binding contract will be in force between us until we have confirmed acceptance of your order and up until such time, we are under no obligation to supply the goods to you.

We will send you an email to notify you when your order has been dispatched. It is the dispatch email that constitutes a formal acceptance of your order by us, and you and we are obliged to fulfill our obligations under that binding contract.

As a consumer, you have a statutory right of a cooling off period of 14 days from placing your order, during which time you may cancel your order or return goods for any reason and without penalty. Following this cooling off period we will accept unwanted products, notified to us by letter, email or telephone call within a further 7 days of receipt and returned within 30 working days of delivery. They must be in their original packaging unused, undamaged and in a re-saleable condition. Any goods you receive from us during the statutory cooling off period can be returned to us at our cost, however we would remind you that in the event of cancellation following the cooling off period the cost of the return of the goods is borne by you and recommend that adequate cover is taken to ensure their safe return to us. On receipt of the goods in a satisfactory condition, a full refund will be issued to you within 12 days. If you are a business customer purchasing on behalf of a company then this statutory cooling off period does not apply, although we will endeavour to reach a satisfactory agreement with you should the goods not be as advertised or described.

Products shown on our website or in our catalogue are subject to the price and availability at that point, errors and omissions excepted. They can be replaced by a product of similar price and quality, but never one inferior to the advertised product. We will always notify you if this is the case and give you the opportunity to either change or cancel your order, however we retain the right to reject an order should a suitable replacement not be available in either price or quality.

Delivery will be undertaken by either ourselves or one of our trusted couriers. Our aim will be to deliver the goods to you within 5 working days, but no longer than 30 days, although we cannot guarantee an exact date within this period.

Urgent and priority deliveries can be arranged at additional cost, although if any delay in dispatch is due to us, this additional cost will be waived unconditionally.

All deliveries must be signed for as proof of our delivery system.

If an item is lost or damaged in transit, whilst we will not be held liable for any loss, we will do our utmost to assist you with any replacement or recovery and pursue compensation directly with the courier service we use.

Our goods are supplied on the understanding that they are delivered free from manufacturing defects for a period of 12 months (or longer if legislation dictates), from the date of receipt by you the customer. Please carefully examine the goods on receipt and should you find any damage or defect, notify us immediately. We will arrange for their return to us or the manufacturer and if necessary a replacement will be sent to you. If any of the products supplied to you require registration with the manufacturer to instigate warranty, then it is your responsibility to do so within the required timeframe.

Certain products within our range have properties that may make them potentially unsafe if misused or mistreated. You must, on receipt of any product, read carefully any instructions and safety warnings and follow clearly any guidelines on how to use the product. If you are in any doubt about the use of the product, or the meaning of the warnings, we urge you to contact ourselves or the manufacturer for clarification prior to use.

Safefleet UK Ltd., will not be held responsible for any negligent use or misuse of products purchased from our range. Nothing in our literature or guidelines should be thought to supercede – alter – or take precedence over manufacturer’s instructions.

Our service to you is very important, and we strive at all times to ensure that you are 100% satisfied. Should we fail to achieve this and you feel the need to contact us about our service, then please in the first instance e.mail us at sales@safefleet.co.uk, or failing that write to us at the above address, where your complaint will be acknowledged and dealt with immediately.

If any provision of these terms and conditions are held to be unlawful or unenforceable by law, that provision shall be regarded as having been removed and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force. These terms and conditions may be amended at any time at our sole discretion.
